New guy here, just joined a couple of days ago, but have been lurking for over a year. Overlooking price and the possibility of converter poisoning, is there any reason not to run Amsoil HDD in an LS2

I would say no. It's a pretty stout 30wt......... Don't know if it's the best Amsoil oil you could pick though? For better answers from the peanut gallery of which I'm one give more info on what the engine is in how you use it etc......
Completely stock 2006 Cadillac CTS V. Daily driver, oil changes in fall and spring regardless of mileage. Temperature ranges from minus mid teens C in winter to low to mid thirties C in summer. Looking for a bit more antiwear than the 100% synthetic 5W-30 from Amsoil but still have the very good cold flow properties.
HDD will work great in that 5W-30 application. I have to admit, I have 5W-20 customers who use HDD.
