I have been wanting to check the motor mounts. What would cause a 'rocking' sensation, almost like a plug/choke being applied to the engine exhaust or intake immediately after accelerating and engine braking starts to apply?

Not sure what engine bay pics would yield?

The K&N explains the silicon being way up to 27. I'd recommend
you put that K&N in storage and just bring it out for the drag strip.

^Not entirely the K&N; as the Si is partly 'raised' from the RTV sealant used for the OPS, but I am leaning towards a replacement for comparison anyway.
