(a few notes to correct Blackstone: The car is a Jetta with the 2.8L VR6 24V motor. The oil is AMSOIL AFL 5W-40.)
This is my second UOA on this oil. The first one is here:
2003 Jetta GLI VR6 24V, 500 miles
The last 1200 miles on this oil have mostly been highway miles, with another six 20-minute track sessions run at the end. The sample was taken immediately after driving home from the track.
Note that this is the same oil as last time, so the silicon number in the first UOA must have been contamination or something.
I've changed the oil and will do another UOA after the next driving event in October.
