Amoco gold oil used by Honda dealer??

I just took my wifes '95 Odyssey in to my local Honda dealer for their $23.99 Express Lube and I asked why type of oil they use. They said all their oils are Amoco Gold either 5w-20 or 5w-30 in my case. I did a search but nothing really informative came up, any ideas the quality of this oil?
