I wonder who remembers those Rusty Wallace shoot outs with Dale and the wipe out , multi rolling crash Wallace endured rolling and flipping all over the in field?
Gotta look for that one. Did not even know it was made. Recent?Cool. Thanks for sharing. Recently watched the first episode of the Earnhardt mini series on Prime. Was really good.
Photo of Mikey and me was at the first Clash at the Coliseum during qualifying on Saturday night. Long story short, Sue had "connections" and we got VIP passes for EVERYTHING that weekend. Sue, both our sons, and I had a luxury suite with members of the NASCAR family. Our suite mates were Kyle Larson and his family!Like the photo. When/where? Me and the boys stumbled upon old Bandit driver Harry Gant at Atlanta Motor Speedway just sitting there next to a souvenir truck waiting on someone. Lots of folks did not even see him there. LoL. He was super nice to the boys and so down to earth kind of guy. Too bad we all did not walk around with camera phones etc... back then.
Looks like I got some catching up to do. I was not aware of the documentary you mention. Thanks, I will look it up soon.![]()
Very recent. It was released in late May 2025.Gotta look for that one. Did not even know it was made. Recent?
Two words: WOW! / Jealous! Not true.Photo of Mikey and me was at the first Clash at the Coliseum during qualifying on Saturday night. It was a true lifetime experience. I've been to the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Indy 500. My experience during the Clash was the finest overall race weekend of my life. We met and socialized with people 99.9% of us only get to see on television. Unreal.
For some reason a search doesn't find my thread about that weekend. Maybe you can find it. I posted a bunch of pictures and story lines. Here are a few.

Chad Knaus and me talking chassis setups and laughing that both of us had read Adrian Newey's book on suspensions. No kidding!

The mechanical bits, the area I love the most. I had as much access to the cars as the teams did.

Yes. I can find the link for our 2024 Indy trip. Indy is truly a "spectacle".Two words: WOW! / Jealous! Not true.So glad you all had a fantastic time. I was just wondering about Tony S. not long ago. It seemed like he disappeared but then I read just how busy he really is. I used to have photographic memory but been slipping a bit as of late. But I do think I recall reading and drooling over a big Post/photos etc... you made about the awesome Indy trip you and Sue made?

They had it playing at the RCR Museum in Welcome, NC. It was an awesome place and I encourage everyone with even a small interest in NASCAR to go there and the Hall of Fame in Charlotte.Name of it is simply DALE 2007. You should enjoy it. If you can not find it streaming or anyplace , PM to let me know.

I just figured out I was waay off base. I forgot the boys had given me two D.E. Collector packs. The movie made about his life with Barry Pepper as Dale E. is titles "3" and is a very good, moving film for NASCAR and D.E. fans to watch. I just relocated it and am watching it now. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3:_The_Dale_Earnhardt_StoryWhat's this movie?
