Amazon delivered my order at 6:08 AM today

Just one of the many benefits of working for Amazon, getting up in the middle of the night to do early morning weekend deliveries..

Some folks are night owls. If I were a Amazon driver I would like the fact that there is Zero traffic in my sleepy berg at those hours. We had close to 90°F today and my delivery was made by a hot sweaty guy a half hour ago. .

Do you live near the warehouse? They build a new warehouse about 5 miles from my place and for some deliveries more than $25, they will deliver between 2 and 5 am.

Amazon delivered my order at 6:08 AM today.

I didn’t know they delivered so early on Sunday morning.

Nothing unusual these days.

They really started getting into this before 2020, but Covid put a hard stop on all that, so it's nice to see it come back.

There's been enough "Prime" stuff that would take more than the advertised time period.

Amazon left a package on my back porch sometime this morning before 6AM; I was expecting something anyway so I grabbed it when I left for work and hopped right in the car without looking at it. When I got to work, I saw it was addressed to my neighbor..... So I went back home and left it on their front porch.

On the opposite end of the space/time continuum, my Amazon packages show up well into the evening. A recent package showed up around 9:30PM. Which is funny because I'm surrounded by Amazon terminals, warehouses and order fulfillment centers.

Most every freight carrier has left packages meant for an address down the street. It's consistently the same address, it doesn't matter who the sender is. The only freight carrier that hasn't done this (yet) is FedEx. Amazon is the worst.

I buy tool only Greenworks stuff on eBay. It comes UPS with Amazon packaging. This last one I got today from UPS. But yesterday eBay sent me a USPS tracking number and said it was delivered at 2:36 pm. No way. Mailman is here before 12 noon and I was here at 2:36.

The UPS and USPS tracking history info is not the same but both from the west coast.

Today no Amazon order was delivered at 17:10 EDT, but tracking says it was, and there is NO pic. Must admit it has been maybe 3 years since Amazon misdelivered. Guess I’ll wait the requisite 24 hours and request a replacement. Somebody got 24 cans of free chopped clams.

We have blink cams so know 100% Amazon did not come here today…

My stuff has been beating promise dates for a few months now. Unlike the last 3-4 years.

not here, my latest VR1 20w50 order came in air, then cancelled due to damage. I have not got anything on time recently, but I do not live in the suburbas though.

Reminds me in My Cousin Vinny where he goes to the hotel front desk to complain about the noisy train that came rattling through town at 5 AM. The hotel clerk says sorry that's not the normal time the train comes through. Next morning the train comes through at 3 AM and he complains again about the train coming by so early in the morning. The hotel clerk says yes 5 AM is not the normal time for the train. The normal time is 3 AM.
