You'd have to wait for it to be back in stock before it'll let you add to cart or add to list or save for later. It's inconvenient for constantly checking stock, I know.

Sorry, I didn't know it was posted for slightly cheaper two weeks ago. I viewed it a couple days ago and it was $27. It came up as a 'recommended for you' listing at this price while I was browsing on a phone. I received a delivery update email and it says it should get here next week, originally in mid Dec.

It’s almost like you haven’t read the thread at all….
This. If it is OOS it simply will not show at all. Anywhere. Period.

No selection for it will be displayed on the screen.

There will be nothing on which to click.

I tried to pull the ASIN from my previous orders but can't seem to get there. It simply won't take me to any details about the product because it believes they presently have none to sell. I can view my invoices but they only give a text description.

TL;DR: if the 0W-40 is OOS you seemingly canNOT link to it. The entire product page changes and there is no button for 0W-40

I provided screen shot examples in the other thread which I have already linked in this thread.

OP was not wrong to post the deal -- it was valid and real when he posted but time marches on and stock levels fluctuate.

Just to recap because it is apparently confusing and I may not have been clear, if 0W-40 is OOS it will not show as a product selection on the product page.

I may not have been explained this well enough...... ;) <-----that's sarcasm, many here struggle with the concept of sarcasm (sigh)

I’m glad I missed this because I really don’t need any oil aside from some M1 5w30 for the ‘Yoda.

99 cents better..for better oil 😎

Now I may mix it with my 5W-30 to be a contrarian LOL 🤣🤣
I think most here would say 10 quarts of Amazon 0w40 for $10.35 is a better deal than 10 quarts of QS 5w40 for $46.

The 5 quart jug of Amazon 0w40 was briefly back to $5.xx early this morning but I was unable to add it to the cart before it sold out.

I really think @schwinney is either bad at math, or bad at reading... No offense @schwinney, just really trying to understand how this deep into the thread you are still convinced that QS Euro 5W40 is a better deal financially than Amazon Basics 0W40... Read the very first post of the thread and look at the screenshot. The $6.xx price is for a 5-QUART JUG. It kinda seems like you completely missed that detail and keep thinking that we're talking about a price per quart here... Correct me if I'm wrong?...

What I missed is that you can’t get the mythical $6 5 quart jug… unless it is back. I’ll check if it is..
Just sayin’

Check out the price and it’s STILL not 0W or even 5W-40.

I know I'm wasting my keystrokes.....but then you're not commenting on the thread topic. You've just chosen a higher priced product you like and are comparing it to a different product irrelevant to the reason the thread was started.

I'm glad you like your QS. Really I am. But it's got nothing to do with Amazon 0W-40 at ~$5 to $7 per jug.

With weird clearance and pricing deals like this you often have to "work" for them. In this case that work is mostly a combination of watching, waiting and luck. Not everyone wants to deal with that just like people who insist on popping into rebate threads to tell us rebates are too much work.

That's ok, everyone should spend their TIME and MONEY as they choose. I often enjoy "hunting" for deals. Some people don't. I do NOT like onions. Some people do.

In all seriousness, I hope you and your QS have a good day.

I’m not the one that posted it in the thread either… (the QS)

Post #21 states, and then was co-opted by some of the board’s “leading members” shall we say (I’m being nice…)

So if the product mentioned is sold out then I don’t think I’ve done or even posted anything wrong here.

It’s a slow day here too.
