Am I missing something here? A few cents less than Mobil 1 at Walmart for some generic no name oil that's going to be a nuisance to handle and pour compared to 5 quart jugs.
Well I like the packaging hard plastic 5 gallon jug I don’t like the plastic bag oil boxes that everybody has out today. Plus if this penngrade is the company that sells racing oil and brake in oil it a good oil.
The price may not be a bargain, but I do like the packaging, much better than the plastic bag in a box.

It's not a generic no name oil. Remember Brad Penn's green motor oil and American Refining Group in Bradford, PA? What I question is that the penngrade1.com site does not even list any full synthetic oils.

It's worth buying once for the jug. 
I like jugs as much as the next guy, but bigger isn't always better. I can only imagine the spillage trying to pour out of it.

Yup, it has a good long history.
You’d probably pay close to $15 for just the jug if you bought it separately. Looks like a good container to empty five gallon buckets of 15w-40 into.
