Amalie Imperial Turbo Formula

Does anyone have any info on it? Ive heard of Amalie oil before, but never this one.

Its their basic oil.Next step up is PRO High Performance blend and Elixir synthetic.Amalie also makes Wolf's Head oil.They are out of Tampa Florida and used to be called Petroleum Packaging Co.

I thought I heard that Amalie was going to be the manufacturer of the oils for CarQuest now that they were moving away from Ashland. Does anyone know if that is true or not?

I know Amalie packages motor oil for the Parts Plus auto store chain. I got some in the fall.

Advance Auto house brand bottles are identical to Amalie and the AA store I stopped at in Florida in February was just starting to carry Amalie products so it's a good bet that your info is correct.

I did note that Amalie's oils seemed to be on the thin side for their grade...ie: 5w20 that had a viscosity of 6.5 Cst @ 100*C
