altima shocks struts

I'll be replacing the front struts and rear shocks on a 2008 Altima this weekend, I'd like the torque specs for the struts/mounting tower nuts/bolts and rear shocks and any other bolts involved in the process. I'll be using quick struts. No youtube videos state the torque specs.

It doesn't even pay to post on this forum anymore. Everytime someone has a question, yall sure are quick to say Google it or have a sarcastic answer. I Googled it (oh my bad for not stating it) youtubed it, no luck, so I came here. Thanks to Trav for always having helpful information.

Trust me, I always try to find the torque specs for something elsewhere before I ask on here. So when I do, its a last resort, meaning I've googled it, youtubed it, and everything else.

I don't think torque is that critical for shocks and struts. I've never used torque specs for them and never had a problem

That said, if you do want to follow torque specs, remember that final torque for the top strut nuts is supposed to be done with the car on the ground

I have a factory service manual for both of my cars which usually contains this information. Having said that, the struts might come with instructions that include the torque specs.

Go look at page FSU-11 for the exploded diagram for the front.

RSU-9 for the rear.

Make sure you look at the legend correctly to know which number refers to ftlb, inlb and newton metres.

Also (respectfully) it's up to any individual to say whatever they want to say, it's your responsibility to tune it out if you don't want to hear it. I like to try to help people but I don't think you can criticize people for not doing so, that's their prerogative. They don't work for you.

Hmmm, it just comes across like you want it on a silver platter if you're not willing to do the simplest of internet searches first.
People quickly assume you didn't when they do the search and the answer is readily apparent and at the top of the search results.

We all get lazy from time to time but, come on man....

It's all but right at the top of the google search.
