I tell ya', I don't know how I ever lived without this thing. I just blew out my sprinkler system yesterday. This would cost me $45 to have done. I went to Lowe's yesterday and bought a garden hose to 1/2 FPT and a 1/2 MPT to 1/4 FPT adapter, to which I added my own male quick connect and Viola! For $6 and change, plus my compressor and hoses, I had everything I needed.
For the record, anyone who tells you that a massive compressor is necessary is either trying to sell his services or hasn't done it before. You do need a lot of air, but if you don't have a high cfm rating, a good size tank (mine is 30 gal) will make up the difference.
