I grew up around cattle. There is no way the cow could have gotten on the hood of the car. Yes, it could have jumped up there, but it would have to jump up landing on it's feet, then lay down. With cold snowy hoofs, the car hood would be impossibly slippery for it to stand on. It would have been a train wreck.

Yeah - we built many “cattle guards” from 2-7/8” oilfield pipe - they won’t even step on those …

So did I. It’s still amazing how many people believe in cow tipping. BTW, that hood would have been crushed with a half-ton cow.

I'm frequently asked if 'cow tipping' is real. My response is always, "give it a shot and let me know how it works out for you. If you want true excitement, then try it with a horse".

When I lived in FL. the lady across the street from me had 2 male Pygmy goats. As you know, goats love to climb up on ANYTHING! One morning they got out of their yard into her front yard. They decided to climb upon her 2006 Cadillac and ram each other on the car, and run back and forth, front to back! She was a driver for Disney World and wasn't home. When she came home, one of the goats was standing on the cars roof, the other one was back in his yard. She had them picked up the next day.

Probably someone drunk got "tipped over" by the cow instead of the other way around. But to save face, or to get the drunk guy to try it, the story persists...
