Are aftermarket tire pressure monitors any good? I would like to get one for my truck, but I don't want to spend a lot: Under $100. I don't want the type that screws on top of the valve stem because they are easy to steal. I was thinking of the type that either clamps to the rim or replaces the valve stem. Any suggestions?

Not to sound condescending but what is wrong with just getting on one knee and using one of these?

I can't check my tires while I'm driving down the freeway. If I pick up a nail, I won't know until my (rear) tire gets destroyed.
