I've been cruising amazon/eBay for some after market interior window shades for the rear of my car.

Has anyone used any they liked, or had horrible experiences with any?

I'd like something that installs like a curtain, and not one that slips over the entire door, similar to the photo below.

I would think they are illegal to drive closed since you cant have window tint over a certain %.. what is the purpose?

Sleeping in the car without being scrutinized by malevolent eyes.

Rand,
Seeing as many vehicles have factory installed privacy screens as options, I think the legality is debatable.

A_Harman,
Not the idea I had in mind, but surely not a bad one!

My wife's Lexus es350 has factory retractable shades in the rear doors and rear glass. The rear shade in her Avalon broke after warranty and was going to cost $1,200 dollars to replace. I pulled the fuse. Those in your link look like they belong in a hearse.......sorry.

I'm okay if people think it's a hearse!

Am I hiding bodies. Am I just trying to add privacy.

Who knows, until the smell hits them.
