Anyone ever replace the boot on an aftermarket cv axle? I have tried in the past to change one on my own 4 wheeler and my grandfathers 4 wheeler with no success. I can never manage to get the axle shaft out of the CV joint itself.
I have changed the boots on OEM polaris axles without issue before. They came apart without issue. These aftermarket axles I'm starting to think they don't want you changing the boots on.
The one I'm working on now is off of a polaris rzr and is less than a year old. Ive got the axle shaft in the vice trying to knock the cv joint off the end. Having no luck what so ever.
