Agreed that you can probably put the money away you would have spent on the warranty for repairs, but no one will do it. And who's gonna put back $12k for a Porsche engine or $20 grand for a tranny in a Nissan GT-R?


Also be aware that the factory extended warranty price is negotiable. Go online and shop around. I got factory Chevy and Acura extended warranties for about 60% of the local dealer price.
 
My teen cousin had a car lot warranty on his Ranger. It blew a trans and he got it repaired. The rebuilt trans lasted like 5001 miles, the builer warranty being 5000 miles. He got it fixed again, plus a whole new front-end. He is a very persistant.

Bottom line is that we made it into a joke. You know how insurance policies and warranties always have the "not valid in the following states" disclaimer? We say,"not valid in the following states... or for Anthony G".
