mori, many mines in aus do. that is the only way to get staff in and out in a timely manner.

flew here a few times. world's biggest producer of industrial and pink diamonds, owned by rio tinto.

That's a very beautiful picture of a very swept area. Thank you. I had to write a paper on mining one time; a lot of them are very dangerous places to work.

The guy in the cab has a really good view. I don't know how some of those crane operators can even function.

One of the old open cast coal mines behind our town has been turned into a lake....it's very close to town,just behind the last row of houses.A barge is moored in the middle,and they do commercial diver training there - deep sea diving just a few metres from shore.I had the kayak out on the lake at Easter.
 
We've got a few of them around here at the cement mines...the limestone makes them really clear.

Anyone got a link to what mori's monster (or a close relation) ate for breakfast ?
