Advise needed please....

While driving today i realize a screw had been attached to my tire. So i immediately drive to the closest garage for a repair.

When the guy pulled out the screw from the tire, they realized that the screw didnt went through all the way to create a puncture and told me it was ok. So far, the tire doesnt seemed to have lost air. I saw the small hole on my tire and am really concern about safety. Please advise. Thanks!

I agree, you're fine. Over many years of driving I've pulled numerous screws, nails, and other sharp objects out of my tire tread that did NOT go all the way through the tire and puncture it resulting in a loss of air, and never had any trouble after pulling the object out.
