LOL. Entering year 48 of marriage, I believe that cultivating hobbies separately from one's spouse is the secret to beating the odds (maybe that is what the quote means?). I enjoy fishing alone/model railroading and I encourage her participation with friends at the senior center (I prefer not to hang out with people on oxygen machines, etc.., ).
Also, in our young romantic marriage I wondered why my grand parents slept in separate beds/rooms. Now I know why. Still, we are very close and share intimacy, but old age evokes changes. God willing, looking forward to hitting the 50 year milestone. Its good to have someone to share life with.
