Unless it is some old stock, Ace Hardware branded oil is API SN or SN Plus:

EOLCS Listing

If by chance the bottles have dexos license numbers on them then those can be traced back to a manufacturer.

It doesn't sound likely though. This oil could be okay for a old oil using beater.

Pfft.. it's API SN @ $4.99..i would clean them out.

Relative to a 0w20 and a 5w30, a 5w20 uses little VM's or make up (base) oil to hit the target grade. It's good stuff (much like a 10w30 is), on paper at least.

That jug looks like the ones used by Warren/unilube. They offer brands such as coastal, lubrigold, lubrigard and Warren motor oil. They are a big player in private label blending/bottling, just like Warren distribution and Amalie.

Nice find. Ive never been disappointed with anything ive ever purchased at Ace, [censored] my house is held together, wired and plummed by Ace products...

Stopped by and grabbed 3 more jugs today.
Maybe it's just a local sale? On sale here until
Next week

Will this be ok to use in my high mileage tundra? Have been running synthetic 0w-20

Don't see why not since it's an API SN approved oil of the same grade; it should do just fine.

$5 bucks for 5qts is a heck of a find.ðŸ‘
