Has anyone checked out the relief valve on this filter and know if this new diaphragm design is any good ? The response I got from ACDelco was:" it meets all specifications" The design was changed from a poppet valve design to what looks like a disc or diaphragm design. It now has a circular hole pattern, which nearly flush with the far end of the center tube. I believe this is a Champion labs filter, so there probably other filters out there with this design.
