Every pet food change I have ever seen has made it worse. And yes, I have a diabetic cat, so I do look closely at these things.

I always wondered how pet stores stay in business. However once I saw the massive traffic in/out for $35-$50 bags of dog food I get it. Also the amount of folks posting here about quality pet food surprises me but explains it also.
My cats for better or worst gets grocery store stuff. They seem to live to about 15-20 as we adopt older cats. My wife does bare minimum vet care for them keeping care/comfort in mind.
