Off of our new shop truck. 2018 Chevy Silverado 4x4 quad cab truck with v8. I did the pm on this 6,xxx miles ago with AC DELCO 0W20 DEXOS OIL and this filter. Hauled some scrap and used for parts pick up and picking up oil filters and whatever else. 21k on truck also as of today. Same oil back in and same filter put on truck.

Looks pretty good. Seems filter makes have figured out how to make a decent eCore (tight pleats and smaller center tube windows). Thanks Stude.

Even though I have used them, and cut them open, and they all did the job just fine. I just don't like them because of the big open window plastic frame. The ACDelco Classic gives me warm fuzzies.

Anyway, it looks like it did the job.

I have never had problems with traditional med quality or higher Champion filters.

More like a Champion Labs made E CORE. Thanks for the mis information once again

Looks like a Champion Labs made ecore filter that uses what used to be the traditional Fram relief valve style. They once shared an owner for a few years so I wonder if the mfg'ers traded some design & style (?). Prior to that ecore always used a flimsy combo-style check valve with an extra set of holes in the threaded plate.

I never liked ecore since I tore apart a STP one off of a used GMC truck I got from the local dealership, and the plastic-foam disk on the end of the cartridge tore off without much effort. Didn't like the combo pressure valve either with all the extra holes in the base plate. No thanks.
