53' has posted the newer "hybrid" (nylon core/cage, metal endcaps) design ACDelco PF 64 before. Posted a dissection back in April of last year, and one in December.
As opposed to the previous ACDelco ecore for newer GM with filter integral bypass, as seen topic filter uses metal endcaps with poppet bypass. Previous ACDelco used fiber/felt like endcaps, same as other ecores. As mentioned in links, PF64 is the same design found in current Super Tech ST9688 too. Since both made by Champ Labs, makes sense.
Filters looks fine, like it got the job done.
