AC Delco EOS

I went online and saw that this stuff is used as assembly lube, but I have heard stories of people using it in engines to stop piston slap and lifter ticks. So what does this stuff do? Can non gm vehicles use this stuff?

The EOS I am thinking of is an additive for the first time the engine is fired up from a rebuild or a new cam is installed. The additive levels are too high to use the whole can on a regular basis. Mabbe add an eighth of a can.

Guess the only purpose for the stuff is for running in a new or rebuilt engine, after that according to the link it has no use? But in true Bitog form one of us will find a use for it.
