About done with the local SnapOn truck

That is absolutely ABSURD. I went to snap on website and checked it out, yep $990.

You can get the Tekton 1/4" complete set for $74.

I'm sure one can get a flexible extension and thumb wheel adapter for less than $900.

Just gonna repeat what I have read here that I agree with. Either your dealer is needing extra money and he knows you will pay it or he is being greedy. Either way, may not hurt to talk to him, see if he wants to save a customer or shop less on his truck. Its unfortunate as I do think Snap-On has some great tools, but the prices have and have been a bit hard to take. I do own a fair amount of Snap-On tools and will continue to buy them, but check eBay and other places first.

Well everyone I work with is lol. People crowd around it daily and look at it. They are very well built boxes. I don’t see a point to buy a fancy box. The box isn’t making you money. Fortunately I’ve never had to show a receipt for like warranty or anything. And I have Inside Track Club which they email it and print it so I’ll never lose it.
It's not about the box. It's about what you can do with what's in it.
