AAA worth it?

Have AAA plus for me & the GF. She used it last Saturday morning when she took our dog/Haley with her to pick something up at the convenience store and left the car running due to being cold out. Haley stepped on the auto lock somehow and next thing you know she is calling me at work. I said call AAA. She said it took them about 20 minutes to get there and less than 2 minutes to open the door. Did not even ask to see her AAA card when he arrived she said. Peace of mind if anything and have used it myself over the years to get towed.
