A/S tire suggestions for Subaru Legacy

If you really want good winter performance, you might want to check out the Hankook H727. It's now an aging design, but as Tire Rack and Consumer Reports have shown (and based on my own first-hand experience) they are awesome in the snow. By far, they have the best winter traction of any all-season tire I've ever owned.

Here's a Tire Rack test where the H727 was top rated in all winter categories.

The tire's ages is showing in some other categories, but they beat newer tire designs when it comes to winter performance.

Off topic - I'm very interested to see what Hankook designs to replace the H727. I like Hankook, so I have pretty high expectations. But I haven't heard of any replacement and the H727 is nearing 10 years old (released in 2005). I think it's due for a replacement.

EDIT -The H727 doesn't come in V rated, if you want to stick to speed ratings.
