Had the pleasure of seeing Slamming Sammy, Kinser and the rest of the Outlaws at Flemington Speedway a few times. After years of watching the stocks on that track, the speeds the Outlaws put up was mind blowing. Heading down the front straight, engine absolutely SCREAMING, I literally didn't think that they would make it through turn one! The aero effect of those wings is amazing and the fact that those engines can hold together. I can almost smell the smells and hear the roar of the engines just reminiscing about those days. FYI Flemington Speedway is now a Lowes. The dirt tracks in the northeast have been dying a slow death for many years. Spent almost every summer Saturday night and sometimes Friday nights too at a track with my Dad. Glad I have those memories.
