That's correct. Filter life is typically based on the oil drain/change intervals set by the engine OEM. If you ever have any trouble with the getting the info you need through our 800 number, just let me know.
Thanks again for all your help. I was actually going to call back in tomorrow because I had forgotten to ask one other question. Does LF17531 have an anti-drainback valve? I couldn't find any confirmation one way or the other yet.
