Today I discovered this website. I've already found it helpful. Perhaps you will, too.
Welcome to the Complete Catalog of Cars manufactured worldwide since 1945 - a car specs database, hundreds of thousands of cars with detailed car specifications, comprehensive technical data, and performance data. The simulation of all cars accelerations and performance in road conditions is based on ProfessCars™ software and detailed technical parameters of each car (example specs datapage and performance datapage).

The huge database is not yet complete but is constantly updated and developed. We proceed alphabetically, now working on the letter S (Saturn, Scion, Seat etc). Recently we started adding trucks to the database, beginning with the latest Ford Trucks and Chevrolet Trucks models. It's a really epic work...
There is also a parallel project: MotorbikeCatalog.
