A company called Volta offers free EV charging

I was just keeping the scales balanced
All good. My post was to let people know, Tesla goes pretty far alerting drivers when to get on a charger.
There's a reason for it.
ICE cars can simply dump in a gallon of petrol and get back on the road.
My Tesla would likely need a flatbed.
ICE cars definitely own the advantage on emergency refueling.

I don't know much about other EVs.

I looked on their site they just show what is already here. I see a couple new evgo stations going in, they are expensive charging. 30 cents per kwh.

Of course and I have little sympathy for those who push that regardless of the vehicle.

There is another scenario that doesn't get much attention. ( and as payloads increase, this can sneak up)

As that motor requires more power to do work- it pulls more.

Then the energy discharge density ( and recharge) where it has to normalize has to be taken into account too.

I should have mentioned; there is a "Roadside Assistance/Charging/Ran Out of Charge" menu option on your the Tesla app on your cell. I think they have a guy come out and dump voltage in. Or something similiar. Elon getting richer I imagine...
