Bingo.

Check with the dealer. There is a chance of a TSB or special service message that covers your problem. Wiring, a bad temperature selector switch or faulty blend door actuator/motor can cause intermittents like this.



Punisher - you nailed it (see my earlier post, above.) It was the actuator.

I see your point (and the dealers too.) I guess that it's just the hassle of my having to repeatedly take the truck back in until it was correctly analyzed and repaired (and, in that context, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the fourth time is the trick, and it trully is fixed.)
