A/C Maintenance Question

Then leave it alone. Make sure during the winter months you run the defrost at least once a week to circulate the oil through the system. I recently sold a 95 Caprice that was like a meat locker when I ran the A/C. The system was never serviced and worked great! Sometimes we BITOG'ers like to over maintain things!
 
There are pleanty of 15+ year old vehicles that have never opened the system, and it works fine.

A guy I work with has a '99 Camry, runs the a/c compressor year round, even when the heat is on.
 
The only 2 times I have AC problem with my cars:

1) condenser was bent toward the radiator in an accident, rubbing against it, and eventually wear a hole and leak after 2 years.

2) a pipe burst due to corrosion.

There aren't any leak or wear in the system otherwise, at 220k and 180k
