Mine is 2005, maybe for your car is still new that the low viscosity may not make much difference. But for my car with 91k, I can feel noticable loss of torque with w20 oil, and when I used Amsoil ASM for 3k, it developed pinging that i suspect comes from the burnt oil. The ping is gone after i changed to w30 oil and run a couple bottle of SI-1 and Regane.

So far I like the engine note best with M1 0w-30, PP 5w-30, M1 EP 5w-30.

The M1 5w-30 and SSO sometimes gives metalic sound, similar like ASM after 2k.

I too notice loss of torque with 20wt, and increased engine noise and ... it doesnt want to rev to the upper torque peak. I prob like you want a smooth running engine FIRST then I will worry about wear. If the engine doesnt respond to the butt dyno - UOA be [censored]!
