'95 F150 302/5spd tow capacity

Hi guys,
I've been looking for a used work truck(we're adding on to the house) and came upon a 1995 F150 302/5spd 4x4 reg cab long box with 125K miles on it for under $2K. It's in pretty good shape.
I have looked for the tow capacity on it and can only find info for a 302/auto. Anyone here drive a 90-something to 96 F150 that could look it up? I'd also like to be able to pull my trail Jeep on a trailer once in a while. The Jeep and trailer would probably weigh in around 5000 lbs.

My 5.0 auto explorer has a towing cap. of 6620lbs.
One would think the F-150 w/ the 5.0 could do at least 5000lbs.

I would think so too, but typically the manuals in light duty trucks have a lesser capacity. I'd just like the exact number for piece of mind.

The M5OD is not that strong of a transmission especially not having a granny gear....gonna mean some toasty clutch action with that trailer.

IIRC the tow weight is someing around 5000 lbs max with a stick shift. Would be closer to 7000 lbs if it had a auto.

Would it do it, I'm sure that it would, but I'd be after something a little bit bigger in displacement with an auto if you are after a Ford.

I think Ford used a Mazda transmission in those, which is pretty weak. I would find one w/auto.

Depending upon axle ratio, of course, the 5-speed could tow as little as 3000 lbs. I just sold my '94, so I dont have an owners manual handy. With the auto and 3.55 gears, mine could hardly pull a mountain grade with a 1200lb load in the bed, much less a 5000lb trailer. Having said that, the 302 would actually be happer with the stick instead of a slushbox, and if it has 4.10 gears, even better. The E4OD auto that came in the 4x4 F-150 may be "heavy duty" but is is still junk, and expensive to fix.
