My 2005 Workhorse W20 Motorhome Chassis specs SAE 90W GL-5 Gear Oil for the Front Wheel Bearings with Oil Filled Hub. Synthetic is not mentioned so I expect this is DINO oil.

As spec for Rear Axle differential is Synthetic Rear Axle Fluid SAE 75W-90 GL-5 Gear Oil, would this be an acceptable substitute?

Thanks

There is no SAE 90w.

I'd also use a 75w110. Amsoil, Redline, and Driven(joegibbs) are some choices.

Royalpurple has a SAE90 and an 80w90. Amsoil also has an 80w90.

The other option is to blend your own thick 90 grade(or 110) by mixing a 75w90 with 25-50% off 75w140.
