82K for a Mercury / Bugatti Veyron.

Seeing this makes me think, "why?" It may fool someone at first glance, but is that worth spending the horrendous amount of money to make something like this. As the owner, if anyone takes a closer look they are going to have some awkward questions for you. Same goes for every replica lambo out there. No vehicle is lacking more in taste and I'm sure that goes for the owners as well. The guy wants 85k for it huh? Well, there's a sucker born every minute.

What kind of idiot.....?????

That's interesting. I would like to buy a Veyron and make it some plain jane car. A Sable would work. I could collect stacks of pink slips.

X2. A Veyron engined Sable would be much cooler than a Sable engined fake Veyron.

The Veyron is an ugly car IMO. 1K HP is what makes it. Without that you just have a really ugly car. If I was going to make a kit car, I'd do something else.

I don't see anyone paying $80K for that car. The interior looks terrible. The underpinnings are worth a few hundred bucks.

Ugh, I hate kit cars.

The kicker is for their asking you could buy a number of good and fast real cars.

I rather have a real Nissan GTR, Z06, 911T over a fake Veyron.

82k might be close to what he paid, but it's not a realistic asking price by any measure. Even more tasteless than an MR2 with a Ferrari kit on..

That thing can't be worth any more than 30k tops in the used car market. Not that I'd pay 30k for it. But some other sucker probably would.

This is a fun game, look at what $80k buys that's not a Ford with a junk body on it.

LOL, is that a brake caliper bolted to the tie rod?!?!?

There's a fake non working brake caliper and rotor bolted to the tie rod and the actual brakes appear to be the small oem Taurus brakes which are probably like 10.8 inches

That's going to get ugly when it dislodges and jams in the real rotor or wheel...
