Only thing that would scare me is being sure Ford approves of the oil being used-knowing F, they probably want some weak sauce 5W20 or 5W30 in it...

Yep, they might be looking at another oil revision at some point to reduce warranty claims. IIRC that was rumored to have happened a while back, with a move from 5W20 to back to 5W30 in some of their engines. History often repeats itself.
