At 30k I removed all my coolant by flushing in 5 gallons of steam distilled water until it came out clean using the drain, fill, run car til hot, repeat strategy.
I bought two jugs of Toyota red coolant and then refilled the radiator. After the change, I had about 9/10 gallon of Toyota coolant left. The second jug has been sitting in my cabinet for over 2 years.
Well, here I am at 60k miles. Toyota red is said to last 5 years. Should I leave what I have in there or drain/refill just the radiator with a mix of the last container?
