People stated the Renewable Lubricants oil had less wear because the previous test was still in the break-in period. So the next oil I ran was the original OEM oil again. It still looks better with the thinner RLI motor oil. It has no certifications. I ran the RLI oil harder as it was not as "thick" during the engine warm up period. It just does a better job. 'Better MPG, more BHP, less wear. I will stick with the Renewable Lubricants Incorporated.

Is it a 0W40 or a 5W40? Title says 0 and report 5.
Still it's not everyday that we see antimony in an add pack, unless that's leftover from the RLI (which I thought does contain antimony)?

My mistake, it is a 5W40. I actually like the environmentally friendly Pakelo oil. You should try some. 'Just that the RLI is better in my mind, for my application.
Yes, I believe the RLI has antimony in it. But I also added a quart of oil to the sump some where along the line as it was a little low. I cannot remember what, off my shelf oil I even used. Maybe it was RLI...

I had not heard of Pakelo, until your post. Naturally, being Italian, it belongs in a Ferrari.

But in perusing their website, I don’t see what makes them “environmentally friendly”.

What it is about Pakelo that makes them so?

Too early to see any differences on top of short intervals but they are consistent at 1k so I suppose we could somewhat compare. That krypton had a visc. range of 10.7 to 12.1 for the same interval mileage. What's up with all that Sodium? Does Ferrari struggle with corrosion? Is Pakelo & RLI willing to share their reason for it?

Thanks - so, it applies to agricultural and forest products, hydraulic oils, and the like.

But it doesn’t apply to the oil in the Ferrari, is that right?

Engine oil is not among the listed biodegradable products.
That seems consistent with industrial kit like when rapeseed oil based hydraulic fluids are used on some ships …
