I have half jug left of conventional 5W30 after I sold my car. I have a 2015 Kia Forte that uses 5W20 and I've been using synthethic in it a few years after I bought it new. This car has 70km (~45kmiles).

Could I use a quarter from the 5W30 jug for the next 2 oil changes together with my 5W20 synthetic (same brand) or should I just throw out perfectly good oil, but wrong grade.

Cheers.

Yes.

Yes, use it.

You didn't mention which engine you got, but from what Kiandai owners reported over the years - the 1.8L and 2.0L quiet down a bit on 5w30 or higher viscosity, as they're a bit of a sewing machine (as far as noise goes) on 5w20/0w20. No downsides to using the slightly higher viscosity, only benefits. The 1.6T has shown to work best on 5w40/0w40 oils, as far as wear, smoothness of operation, and oil consumption goes. No noticeable downsides either.
