Sounds good to me. How many miles on the truck? Might be worth running a short interval first, as it cleans up all the gunk, and gradually begin increasing OCIs.

cold weather flow (good for start up) a tad thicker when warm then the 5w30 good for stop and go plus im getting the miles racked up
and fuel eco.

It is a quality oil and I wouldn't be concerned about using it, I have seen a lot of good results with it.

Fuel economy probably won't increase. The 0W-40 is a pretty thick oil. If it were me, I'd do the 0W-30 AFE instead.

With high quality Group II base oils being used in conventional oils these days, if you are going to do 6k miles oil changes or less, then there will really be no advantage in using synthetic over conventional.

Unless your engine is burning oil or leaking oil, most often a good synt is always better than dino. The M1 0-40 will be a good choice.
