5W20 in a pre 1990 engine

Another update: Just reached 30mpg on this last tankfull of gas. Quite a jump from the 26+ mpg that she has been getting. I beleive that our daughter and her friends have been enjoying the summer that we are having. Much more outings and traveling with friends and less stop and go driving.

Once again, this most resent mpg is 26.2........Not bad for the car, but I'am seeing no mpg benefits from using 5W20 motor oil as compared to 5/10W30 otherwise.
