5w20 in a 1994 Lincoln Town Car???

I purchased a 94 Town Car last last year, and I have been running MC 5w30 with OCI of 3000 miles...after about 8,000 miles, the engine has not used a drop of oil and runs like new. I have read a lot on this forum regarding the newer 5w20 and wonder if I should try it in my Town Car. Any real advantages over the 5w30??? Or is the car old enough that I should stay with the 5w30?

Doesn't matter. Your engine will live for a nice long time on any 20 or 30 weight. I just saw the same (original) engine in a taxicab with about 400K on the clock. You will save a few dollars per year on gas if you run the 20 weight.

I'd just stick with what's working, probably wouldnt hurt anything though if you was just wanting to expirement.
