5W20 , 5W30 or 10W30 synthetic for long interstate trip ?

That could be applied to a lot of comments here.

I run 0w20. If I was going on a long trip would I change? Nope. My concentration would be on the tires and the fluid levels.

You or your car will not notice a difference between any of those weights of oil. Just make sure your cooling system is working good and a functioning AC would be nice on those trips.

Vehicle will be a newer , low mileage Kia Saltos AWD with a 2.0L Nu series PFI non- turbo engine (old school design as compared to modern GDI engines) . For the sake of discussion , lots of good replies by ArcoGraphite , KC Jeep and others . M1 5W30 EP plus two additional quarts along for the ride for make up oil just in case . It's Summer soon - xW20 synthetic anything in a Kia / Hyundai engine for a long haul in the Summer makes me a little "twitchy" .
