5W-30 versus 10W-30 in S. Florida

The OP has probably left the building, but I'll throw in my 2 cents anyway...

In South Florida, the difference between a 5W and 10w is probably moot on most days. On the few rare times when it's at or near freezing, you might want to wait a few seconds longer before you hammer the throttle (with 10w30). But really, even then, I doubt it matters that much.
