5w-25 Valv NG ML 5600 mi; 05 Ford Taurus 24v Durat

[Pajamarama]

- Purchased in late Feb 2013 with 85k miles.
- Upon purchase, immediately changed oil to 3 qt 5w-20/3 qt 5w-30. Both grades were Valvoline NG MaxLife.
- Changed air filter about 1k into this OCI. Old one was very dirty.
- Car has had a P0193 (Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input) condition for about 2 months now. Need to change the fuel pressure sensor, I think. Otherwise runs fine.
- This sample was taken at the oil change. Replaced with exactly the same 50/50 mixture noted above.
- Thoughts on high Si are welcome but I am guessing it is due to air filter change.

Numbers look very good. Nice to see that you changed the air filter. UOA picked that right up didn't it?

The cSt #'s still show at a 5W30 though on the low(er) side.

Probably is the air filter change. I change my air a few days before i change oil.

8.74 cSt is in the 20-weight range. 30-weight doesn't start until 9.3 cSt.
