This analysis confirms my feelings that a UOA after only a couple of hundred miles is a waste to time. But anyway you don't have coolant leaks. That's a good thing.
Yeah is kinda boring but nice to start from the beginning and trend it. I have Terry doing his thing too.. too much cashola in this thing to take any chances.
I don't concur with the others. That initial fill, straight 30 weight, detergent oil did its assigned job - flushing break-in metals. You got it out at the right time - it wasn't your engine's friend after those first 500 miles. One extra oil change early on in the total life of an engine is never a waste of time or money.
Absolutely concur...getting that first load out at 500 miles was a very good thing!
