300V 5W-40, long drain interval?

Since the 300V series is motuls race line, can it handle long OCI's like say Red Line 5W-40? i was ready to buy the Red Line 5W-40, but the price here in Australia is out of control. The 300V 5W-40 costs AUD$108/gallon while the Red Line 5W-40 will cost AUD$135/gallon + ten bucks shipping. My car takes 6.5 litres so the difference is substancial. I really want to push to 15,000kms OCI if i can on my Volvo 2.5T. Can the 300V handle that?

fj610 - You should get your 15k OCI out of either Mobil 1 0W-40 or Castrol Edge 0W-40 at much better prices. Mobil Super 3000 X2 5W-40 is also a very very good choiceat a great price. It carries Porsche Approval for instance
